Happy 9 months Sutton Elizabeth

YOU

1.  You weigh 22 LBS

2.  You are in size 4 diapers

3.  You eat about 7 oz. every 4 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5. You take 2 naps during the day.  9am & 1:30 ish

6.  You have 4 bottom teeth and are getting 4 more up top.  

7.  You LOVE laundry.  Crawling in it, taking it out of the laundry basket, throwing it.  You name it, you love doing it
8.  You love to "walk" up stairs holding our hands
9.  You scrub your hands like you have hand sanitizer on them. (Sorry that you're moms a germaphone)
10.  You wave bye-bye
11.  You say MOO for cow
12.  You walk to perimeter of your crib and let go to stand without holding onto anything!
13.  If you're mad you throw yourself on the floor, throw your head back and arch you back and scream.  You passionate little thing you : )
14.  You spin in circles on your bottom if you're mad
15.  You had your first ear infection
16.  You're a crazy fast speed crawler.
17.  You laugh all the time at Campbell
18.  We call you curious George because you are constantly into something

Campbell goes to Preschool

Campbell officially started preschool!  She is enrolled in a MWF 3's class at local church near our house.  What a bittersweet day for this Momma.  So happy and excited for her to have something she does independently without myself or BK.  Some alone time with peers, to make her own friends, find her own interests in a classroom, be engaged for a whole 3 hours, learn, play, create, etc.  Her teachers are wonderful.  Loving and genuine.  They greeted her at the door, kneeling down telling her how happy they were to have her, gave her a hug and said she looked so pretty.  What more could you ask for?  She walked into that classroom with a smile, turned around said, "bye Momma, bye Daddy.  Love you" and threw up the I LOVE YOU sign to us and went on her way.  I on the other hand walked out with sunglasses drawn and tears streaming down my face.  Could my little first born baby really be at school?  Is she really that old to be truly enrolled in preschool?  I know she is ready and that's what makes me more confident to send her.  I've come to understand that it's not that I want to keep her from a natural progression of life's journey, rather, its the first step in a long line of "letting go."  I'm reminded of this wonderful poem....

When I came to pick her up, after just 2 short but long hours, I was met with a smile a hug and these exact words...."I love preschool!!! Can I come back soon??  I met a friend named Kayla."  My heart at that moment could have exploded and once again I found myself with teary eyes, however, a different kind of tear than those of 2 hours previous.  It was tears knowing that we made the right choice for her.  Tears knowing she is so happy.

Happy 8 months Suttie

YOU

1.  You weigh 18.6 LBS

2.  You are in size 3 diapers

3.  You eat about 7 oz. every 4 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

6.  You have 2 bottom teeth and are getting 2 more on bottom.  You drooley little thing

7.  You are a crawling maniac!  You are so fast.  Literally we cannot take our eyes off of you for more than a second

8.  You love to smile, laugh and talk.  You say Mama, Daddaaa

9.  You give kisses.  And love to kiss mouth to mouth

10.  You love your walker and are so fast, I swear you are running in it

11.  You just started pulling up on things and standing without holding on

12.  You love the outside

13.  You love being out and about

14.  You love your lovie and paci...BIG TIME!  

15.  You love watching Abby and Campbell so much. 

16. You are so curious.  You get into everything! EVERYTHING

17.  You EAT all finger food and love food! HA.  You love smoothies and I give them to your daily.  Your favorite is whole milk grass fed yogurt, banana, strawberry, avocado, coconut oil, spinach.  You are just like your sister, the BEST fruit eater and hate veggies.
18.   You have never met a stranger.  You have zero separation anxiety

19.  You have the most beautiful eyes.  BEAUTIFUL

20.  You are so easy going.  And the best independent little thing.  You entertain yourself so well

21.  You have a contagious smile and get so excited when we come to get you after naps or nighttime sleep

22.  You are impossible to change and scream.  You hate it with a passion

23.  You're such a fun, cute little thing. 

24.  You slam books closed and push it away if you don't like it.  

25.  I love when I can hold you to sleep.  It is such a special treat

26.  You copy whatever we are doing.  Facial expressions, sounds, etc.

Happy 7 month Birthday

YOU

1.  You weigh maybe around 19.5 LBS?  We haven't been to the Dr. this month

2.  You are in size 3 diapers

3.  You eat about 7 oz. every 4 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5. You take 2 naps during the day.  9am & 1:30 ish

6.  You have 2 bottom teeth

7.  You try to crawl by getting onto all fours but don't move, ha.

8.  You love to smile, laugh and babble.  Ooh my it's just too cute.  You get so upset when Campbell takes things from you

9.  You give hugs and kisses.  MELT ME!

10.  You love your walker and can really move in it

11.  You love books and your flashcards

12.  You love the outside

13.  You love being out and about

14.  You sit in your crib and sometimes get stuck in this position

15.  You love watching Abby and Campbell so much.  You laugh at your sister all.the.time.  You love to pull Abbys ears.

16. You have tons of rolls on your legs and arms.  We love it : )

17.  You EAT only finger food. Once you figured out how to feed yourself you won't let me feed you unless I have a something for you to pick up.  Puffs normally do the trick :)
18.  Everything is in your mouth.  ALL.THE.TIME.

14.  You love your lovie and paci...BIG TIME!  You can put your paci back in if it falls out so you now have like 3 in your crib at all times

17.  You EAT some finger food and have had lots of food.  You've had bananas, apples, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, and pears, plums, peaches, yogurt, couscous, blueberries, pumpkin, peas, carrots, green beans, mashed cauliflower, eggs.  You aren't the "biggest" food eater, you still looooove your bottles but at least try things.  You are just like your sister, the BEST fruit eater and hate veggies.
18.   You don't have separation anxiety but it does take you a moment to adjust to someone new.

19.  You have the most beautiful eyes

20.  You will be only be held facing outward.  PERIOD. and come hell or high water you get into that position

Happy 5 month birthday Sutton.  (I would do anything to not have this show I am posting this a week before her 6 month birthday, eek)

YOU

1.  You weigh ...I dunno probably around 16/17 lbs?  We haven't been to the Dr. for you - thank goodness!

2.  You are in size 3 diapers

3.  You eat about 7 oz. every 4 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5. You still rock it in the sleep department.  Sleeping like a champ all night

6.  You take 2 naps during the day.  9am & 1(ish)pm.  Although, most of the time we are out in the morning and you won't sleep, so you stay awake until the afternoon.  Poor baby, I know you're tired

7.  You talk, smile, laugh, and make the cutest sounds ALL.DAY.LONG.   You literally think your big sister and I are the funniest people EVER. You flirt all the time with Daddy.

8.  You are a rolling machine! You sleep only on your stomach with your face smushed into the mattress.

9.  You give hugs and kisses.  MELT ME!

10.  You sit all by yourself too : )

11.  You love to be nude and roll around on a blanket

12.  Your hands are constantly in your mouth!! CONSTANTLY.  Still very much the same here, yet no tooth.

13.  You love being out and about

15.  You love watching Abby and Campbell and you even love to "chase" them while we hold you

18.  You EAT FOOD NOW!!! You've had bananas, apples, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, avocado, and pears.  You LOVE butternut squash and sweet potatoes.  Dislike pears, apples, and avocado and are indifferent to bananas.  Oh and I gave you a mum-mum.  Which you loved.  (Who wouldn't those things are good)

19.  You're such an easy and fun baby : )

We went to the Dr. at the beginning of May to have a check-up on your eyes and all is good!  They are perfectly healthy and normal.  We thank God for answering our prayers!!

Happy 4 months Sutton

Happy 4 month birthday Sutton.  You are such a joy to us

YOU

1.  You weigh 15.2 lbs

2.  You are in size 3 diapers

3.  You eat about 6 oz. every 4 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5.  You sleep all night (yippie) but have recently been waking up at 5:45AM to talk and laugh.  I just said the other morning to your dad that it is the sweetest sound to wake up to, however, just not that early : )

6.  You take about 3 naps during the day.  

7.  You talk, smile, laugh, and make the cutest sounds ALL.DAY.LONG.  Friends and family call you smiley because that's all you do.  You literally think your big sister and I are the funniest people EVER.

8.  You love to roll from side to side on your back but have yet to master the rolling from back to tummy.

9.  You give hugs and kisses.  MELT ME!

10.  You love to stand and "pretend" to walk.  Still the same this month

11.  You love to be nude and roll around on a blanket

12.  Your hands are constantly in your mouth!! CONSTANTLY.  Still very much the same here

13.  You love the ERGO.  I mean LOVE

HAPPY 3 MONTHS SUTTON!

Happy 3 month birthday Sutton.  I cannot believe you are 3 months old.  Everyday I spend at least 1 quiet moment with you thinking about how this time is going to go by so fast and then I hold you even closer.

YOU

1.  You weigh 13.2 lbs

2.  You are in size 2/3 diapers

3.  You eat about 6 oz. every 3 hours

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5.  You wake up a lot during the night, ha...but not to eat just to be held

6.  You take about 3-4 45 min naps during the day, although some days I can time it just right at that 45 minutes sleep cycle and get you to sleep another 1 -2 hours!

7.  You LOOOOOVE your big sister.  Everything she does.  She is so great to you and with you.  It melts our hearts and we know you all will be the best of friends.

8.  You have the most contagious and gummy smile.  You LOVE to talk and laugh out loud

9.  You learned how to roll from your tummy to your back a week or so ago, but have only done it once and you are desperately trying to roll from your back to your tummy.  You are so close

10.  You love to stand and "pretend" to walk.  

11.  You grab at your toys and get a kick out of spinning the duck on the excersaucer

12.  Your hands are constantly in your mouth!! CONSTANTLY

13.  You love to get into the football cradle position when we hold you.  We literally have to check your breathing when you're like this because you have your head completed surrounded by fabric.  

14.  You like to be held facing outward and moving

15.  You are so sweet, yet so intensive and fiery.  We wouldn't change it for the world.
