Heaven

Every night B.K. or I put Campbell to bed, we always say prayers.  Prayers from the heart that is.  Not a recited prayer, just a "letter type" prayer.  It always begins with....Dear God,.......
I love this.  When I was a little girl my Dad once told me that God wants to hear what is in MY heart therefore when I say prayers talk to God as if he is reading a letter from you.  With that being said, hearing Campbell say prayers every night is really special and important to me.  Anyways, the other night as I was laying in her bed beside her, looking at her sweet angel face, she began to tell me what Heaven is like.  She envisions a small town with things that are familiar in her life.  She talked about school in heaven, her friends, swimming pools, places she likes to eat, etc. It was one of the sweetest moments.  To hear what her Heaven entails is something that warms my heart.  A place that is special in the clouds.  A place that is fun, and loving, and enjoyable.  She then asked me what I think Heaven is like.  Oddly enough, I described much of what she had.  I told her I envisioned Heaven to be much like a working little town.  Filled with all the things that are near and dear to my heart.  It was so special to me.  A moment I never want to forgot.

I am so grateful for her, for God giving her to us, for God choosing me to be her Mom.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY Suttie Muffin

Happy 1 year Birthday Sutton

1.  You weigh 23 LBS

2.  You are in size 4 diapers

3.  You have no more bottles and hate milk, ha!

4.  You go to bed each night between 7:00 and 7:30pm

5. You take 1 nap during the day around 1pm

6.  You have 10 teeth; 4 bottom teeth and 4 more up top and 2 molars
7.  You say "apple" "dada" "eyes" "uh-oh" and "bubble" clear as day
8.  You love to dance and listen to music
9.  You love crawling up and down the stairs
10.  You scream if you don't get your way
11.  You love singing into the princess microphone
12.  You love being outside
13.  You are social
14.  You pretend to jump
15.  You hate sharing and throw yourself on the floor if you don't get something you want
16.  You are obsessed with your morning smoothie
17.  You hate vegetables
18.  You love fruit, carbs, graham crackers, hummus, yogurt, cheese, chicken salad from Zoes,and beef stew
19.  You never sit still, ever!
20.  You are passionate, spirited, sweet, sassy, crazy, lovable, determined and you complete our family : )

You are such a miracle and we are so incredibly blessed God gave you to us.  Your sweet smile make all the demands of you so worth every moment.  Thank you for being you Sutton, we love you to the moon and back.

 

Almost 1 year.....11 months and stopping time

Happy 11 month Birthday Sutton

1.  You weigh about 22 LBS

2.  You are in size 4 diapers

3.  You eat about 7oz in the AM and 7oz in the PM

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5. You take 1 nap during the day around 12/1pm

6.  You have 8 teeth; 4 bottom teeth and 4 more up top.
7.  You LOVE picking up Campbell from school and going to her show n tell on Fridays
8.  You LOVE to dance
9.  You LOVE music and especially the song "I'm all about that bass" HA!
10.  You love the park but hate to swing
11.  You are constantly on the move
12.  You unfortunately had the Enterovirus with your sister the week before Thanksgiving
13.  You had your first Thanksgiving and hated everything except the rolls, ha!
14.  You love to ride on my back in the Ergo
15.  You love to kick, throw, etc any type of ball
16.  You LOVE bubbles
17.  You LOVE smoothies and carbs

10 months

Happy 10 month Birthday Sutton

1.  You weigh about 22 LBS

2.  You are in size 4 diapers

3.  You eat about 7 oz. 3 x day

4.  You go to bed each night between 6:30pm and 7:30pm

5. You take 2 naps during the day.  9am & 1:30 ish

6.  You have 8 teeth; 4 bottom teeth and 4 more up top.
7.  On November 1, 2014  You took your first "real" all-by-yourself steps : )  You walked all the way across the family room without falling.  I would say you were more than ready. 

8.  You LOVE laundry.  Crawling in it, taking it out of the laundry basket, throwing it.  You name it, you love doing it
9.  You had your first Halloween...and loved it!  You sat in the wagon the whole time and ate snacks, ha. 
10.  You love to "walk" up stairs holding our hands
11.  You LOOOOVE animals.  All of them.  Constantly wanting to touch peoples dogs, cats, etc.
12.  You have a love hate relationship with books.  You only LOVE a couple and will shut the ones you don't.  You won't even let us a read 1 page of a book you don't like.
13.  If you're mad you throw yourself on the floor, throw your head back and arch you back and scream.  You passionate little thing you : )
14.  You have zero patience with anything.  If you want something, you want it right then, ha.
15.  We call you curious George because you are constantly into something
